Our Story
An authentic Puerto Rican restaurant in the Ontario, New York community with housemade family recipes which offer a taste of Grandma’s kitchen. Mamia’s Island is owned by Neymaris Sierra who was born and raised in Puerto Rico and relocated to the Rochester area 14 years ago. Her recipes have been in her family for years (which is) where she learned to prepare Puerto Rican dishes known as “cocina criolla”at family gatherings centered around the meal.
We’re open Tuesday thru Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 12 - 5 p.m.
Seating is limited and take out is convenient and available all year around.
